      Advertising a Product
      Advertising Fee
      The advertising fee is 5 % of the asking price (not the final sales price). The minimum advertising fee is £50.

      Example: 2,000 Rubber Gloves.
      Asking Price – £2,000.
      Final Sale Price – £1,700.
      Advertising fee due on completion of the sale – £100.

      Invoice Payment against Proforma invoice. You must supply Hospital Mart with a Purchase Order.

      Invoice Payment against Proforma invoice can be agreed, with your organisation’s standard payment period.

      Please note – Product Request Adverts are activated only when payment has been received.

      Compiling Your Advert
      On our Tips Page we have developed a checklist to assist you in compiling your advert. Please note this is not an exhaustive list but it could help clarify some important considerations.

      How to Advertise a Product

      1. Sign Up
      2. Log In
      3. Click on the ‘Place New Advertisement’ link under the heading ‘Offer a Product’
      4. Complete your advertisement details
        This will require you to give us a Purchase Order Number, against which we will invoice you for the advertising fee when a sale is made
      5. Click on ‘Submit and pay by Invoice’
      6. Forward the Purchase Order document by post or fax to Hospital Mart

      This document must include the statement:

      ‘This Purchase Order covers the advertisement of products for sale on the Hospital Mart website in accordance with the terms stated thereon.’

      1. You negotiate the transaction with the buyers who contact you
        How You Pay For Your Advertisement
      2. You go through the ‘sold item procedure’ to notify Hospital Mart of the sale. Please note, where more than one item is offered for sale, you must notify Hospital Mart each time one of the items is sold so that an advertising fee can be invoiced. Do not wait until all items are sold before notifying us.
      3. Hospital Mart will invoice you for the advertising fee, against your purchase order document.
      4. You pay the advertising fee 30 days from the date of the invoice.
        Please note – An advertising fee is due for each item sold and the minimum fee payable is £50.

      How to Request a Product

      1. Sign Up
      2. Log In
      3. Decide if you would like to pay for your advertisement by PayPal or Invoice
      4. Click on the appropriate ‘Place New Advertisement’ link under the heading ‘Request a Product’
      5. Complete your advertisement details
      If paying by PayPalIf paying by Invoice

      8. Follow the on-screen instructions and make your payment8. Wait to receive the invoice in the post
      9. Click on ‘Return to Merchant’9. Send a cheque to Hospital Mart
